The Challenge
When Aphix approached us to tender in 2017 they were at an exciting and intensive growth stage with huge potential for their products to disrupt and transform the wholesale and distribution sector. Their business goal was to scale up, to educate users on key benefits and to become the thought leader in their industry. They needed a smart, useful digital and content strategy and a vibrant, innovative, flexible website to assist the sales and marketing teams, and to support and platform their new content. The site also needed to be easy to edit and be built within budget.
Process
We held a kickoff workshop with key members of the Aphix team which allowed us to deep dive and thoughtfully understand many aspects of the business - business goals, considering the larger industry, competitors, and to get familiar with the crucial element of all good website planning - the end users. From this, we planned user journeys, expectations, calls to action, anticipating the needs of the user at every step to help them find what they need, and guide them in the right direction.
This was followed by the design process, which was crucial to achieving a vibrant, professional, modern user interface and a sleek, and seamless user experience. We sourced photography, and produced an on-brand, eye-catching design. Our mobile first, SEO best practice approach means that the site is searchable, with maximum usability. Our backend build included a custom made, unique modular content functionality which leverages time spent on rich content, allowing it to be used and re-used where relevant.
