Here at MOR, we are very excited about two recent big awards for our work with CoderDojo and with Laya Healthcare! These are two, quite different, projects that we're particularly proud to have been a part of - one involving our Platform Team and the other involving (what is now) our Specialised Messaging & Content Team. Congratulations to all involved!

CoderDojo.com

CoderDojo.com has been announced as the winner of the 'E-Learning and Science' category at the UN-based World Summit Awards 2015. These awards, which feature over 40 categories, recognise global digital creativity and innovation with social impact. 386 websites were nominated from 178 countries, and the winners come from 24 different countries. MOR created a fully responsive website for CoderDojo.com with rich Google Maps integration, optimised  news platform with social media sharing and a warm and friendly design.

coderdojo

CoderDojo.com is the website of the global network of free computer programming clubs for young people. The CoderDojo movement is a not-for-profit organisation which was founded by James Whelton and Bill Liao in Cork in 2011. Today, through a network of volunteers and kids teaching other kids, there are more than 800 dojos operating in 60 countries worldwide. In Europe alone, CoderDojo sessions reach more than 25,000 students, and the organisation also runs the annual Coolest Projects Awards.

Laya Healthcare

Laya Healthcare has won the 'Best use of video' award at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards 2015, which are run by Cork Chamber of Commerce. The award was given for a series of videos made by Story Foundry (acquired by MOR in May 2015) to target 5 key demographics online, in advance of the May 2015 Lifetime Community Rating deadline introduced by the Irish Government. The Story Foundry team were involved from the first step, refining the carefully targeted messaging and on to the concept, production and execution.

laya healthcare lcr

Laya Healthcare is the second largest provider of health insurance in Ireland and currently has over half a million members. Lifetime Community Rating (LCR) is intended to encourage more young people to take out private health insurance and to stabilise premiums in the market.
